Published by Odhams, Wham was a traditional British comic which gradually introduced Marvel superheroes to the line-up, eventually leading to the launch of the 'Power Comics' range.

Never heard of this before, looks a lot like the Beano. Is it another DC Thompson title?

It was a mid-late 1960s comic, mostly humour strips before gradually adding superheroes to the mix later on. It was published by Odhams, a company who were later taken over by IPC. So think more along the lines of Buster, Whoopee, Whizzer & Chips etc. rather than Beano, Dandy, Beezer etc (of DC THomson) I think the artist on many of these covers worked on many, many strips over the years so that's why the style looks familiar.
