I'd like to recommend this site to you, folks... www.internationalhero.co.ukI've had fun browsing this at times. You discover some fascinating characters from around the world, many that I had never heard of. For example, I have read Judge Dredd tales and and am aware that in his world, there are judges around the globe, but then I came across a Judge Joyce from Ireland, who seemed like an interesting character (plus, I think the uniform looks cool). www.internationalhero.co.uk/b/boyce.htmNow I know I've got to track down any of his appearances in Dredd's comics, I like the fact that he is described as a laid-back character, a contrast to Dredd. Then there's a couple of others which caught my eye and look interesting, one from the Netherlands and another from Chile. www.internationalhero.co.uk/g/gutsman.htmwww.internationalhero.co.uk/c/capitanchile.htmHave a browse around the site. You can browse via country or alphabetically, it's an easy site to navigate around - and fascinating! I'll leave you with one more. We all know of Captain America and Captain Britain, right, but it appears a lot of countries have their own heroes representing their ideals and values. Here is a link about Kapten Sverige (Captain Sweden). www.internationalhero.co.uk/k/kaptsver.htm
