Kingpin has been a thorn in Daredevil's side for some time. He's also clashed with the likes of The Punisher and the X-Men. However, some people are unaware that he was originally a Spider-Man villain. For those who may be unaware of the character, there's a bit of information about him in the link below.

I like his encounters with Daredevil, but I think his many encounters with Spider-Man over time are among the best stories in the Marvel universe. Spidey always had a tough time against Kingpin, but he also struggled against Spidey, too. It wasn't an easy battle for either of them.
Out of interest, for those familiar with the character, did you first come across Kingpin in a Spider-Man or Daredevil story? And who do you prefer to see him fight?
