A very early edition of Funny Folks from the 1870s...exact issue unknown, but the the sub-title of Funny Pictures - Funny Notes - Funny Jokes - Funny Stories appeared on the very first issue and got removed in later issues. Also,the top left hand corner appears to be Vol.1, but it really is unclear. 9th March, 1878 An early example of the use of colour in comics, in the Christmas Issue 1887
