This was a great title. For most of it's existence, it featured Batman teaming not only with other superheroes, but villains, too. I remember one issue where Batman and The Joker had to form an alliance to take on The Penguin!
DC also did another great team-up title called DC Comics Presents, featuring Superman teaming up with other characters. In addition to teaming up with the likes of Batman and Supergirl, Superman also teamed up with Superboy (yes, really!), Man-Bat and even The Joker.
Marvel had team-up titles as well. Marvel Team-Up featured Spider-Man teaming up with the likes of Iron Man and Doctor Doom in each issue; and Marvel Two-in-One featured The Thing teaming up with characters each issue, such as Dr. Strange and The Incredible Hulk.
