Or in other words, what are you currently watching on tv/dvd/Blue-Ray etc worth mentioning at present? I'm currently working my way through a selection of favourite original series Star Trek episodes, in no particular order. Last up was S3's 'All Our Yesterdays'. However taking up most of my viewing time over the last week or two, and basically the reason for lack of updates here, is S6 of 24. I was late discovering the exploits of Jack Bauer so am a few years behind but still try to ration myself to one season per year because, quite simply, it takes over your life. It's like a book you can't put down, even in it's poorer moments. And admittedly now that it's in it's sixth season (for me, personally, at any rate) some of the plotlines are becoming repetitive although the twists are different; however it's the characters which really keep the interest. You really care what's going to happen to them. As has been shown over the previous five seasons, no-one is safe. Any other 24 fans out there? Normal service will be resumed in a week or two. It's unfortunate that the Marvel In The UK thread has reached a point where more detail is required rather than just posting covers but when Jack's in action then other things fall by the wayside!

The shows I am enjoying now are Babylon 5 (currently on third season), a well-written sci-fi epic which is getting better and better with each episode. It's the characters, yes. The special effects and stories are good, but I care about the characters. Also watching Eureka and Warehouse 13 - they are quirky, but fun. I look forward to each episode.

Babylon 5 is an excellent series, I watchedit back on original transmission and have all the dvds. It's a rare case of a series which has answers to all the questions which are posed, answers which are revealed at it's own pace. Even the most apparently insignificant event can have consequences several years down the line...
I've never seen either of those other series you mention. I'll have to check them out sometime, I've heard good things about them.
I can't recommend 24 highly enough either, particularly the first season!

Not much on TV at the moment, but I'm enjoying the 60s Batman repeats on ITV4 and the Walking Dead series 2 starts on Friday.
