I only ever found one issue of this - and that's the final issue. Not a bad story inside.
Licensed properties are always tricky. The ones you think should do well, like V, often don't. At a guess, I'd say a comic based on a licensed property has more of an uphill struggle to really make a success of things, given the costs of using licensed characters.

Blimey, I never knew that this existed! I was a big fan of the original series so will have to try and seek it out next time I'm in Forbidden Planet - actually, sod that, the people at Gosh are much nicer so I'll go there instead!

I've just checked out where Gosh are on a map. Their new address looks very close to Forbidden Planet and Comicana - or was it called Comicrama - (is that still there?) so I'll have to check it out next time I'm down in London. I'm assuming that the old shop was the one that Paul didn't have time to take me to that lunchtime, iirc it was off in a slightly different area but still close by.
I've never read this V series either, Alex. I see some of the issues are drawn by Carmine Infantino...not one of my favourites. But it would be interesting to see what his work was like inked by deZuniga...I've never seen that pairing before!
