I remember those Harpy covers, I remember having a conversation with another fellow comic fan I worked with at the time about who or what were The Harpies.
Those covers with The Warlock on also jogged a few memories, wasn't there some kind of future/past storyline involving his character, I seem to recall his past self going into the future to save himself?? I'm wondering if that was in Rampage??

I think you're referring to the Magus, wasn't he either who Warlock would become, or who Warlock once was? I can't remember the details, but I'm pretty sure that was in Jim Starlins run on the series. I'll have to investigate further, I haven't read any of these stories for years!

Now that rings a bell. I'm glad you knew what I was talking about though. All these covers lately are ringing all kinds of bells, and I find myself recalling all kinds of storylines.

I'm really not sure what UK title the story appeared in. Once the cancellations started in 1976/77 the strips were constantly moving around several titles, so it was hard to keep track of what was where (and that was at the time - never mind 25 years later!)   |
